Tom McKarns  —  President
Tom has spent almost 50 years in the analytical instrument business, including 15 years with Mettler-Toledo (the last 9 in Zürich Switzerland. He started ECO PHYSICS, INC. in 1995 as the exclusive distributor offering sales distribution and service for the environmental and medical application NO and NOx analyzers from Swiss based ECO PHYSICS AG and ECO MEDICS AG.

Tom enjoys hiking, cycling, skiing, swimming and family activities. He will be retiring from ECO PHYSICS around the end of September of 2025, and is pleased to be leaving the company in the capable hands of Ahmad Nabiyar and the rest of the ECO PHYSICS team.

Ahmad Nabiyar  —  Vice President
 Ahmad worked for ECO PHYSICS from 2016 - 2021, then left to pursue other professional obligations.  But, good news for us, Ahmad has returned and has bought into the company as a part owner. Tom will be retiring at the end of September 2025, then Ahmad will continue to manage the business.

Ahmad has always enjoyed the outdoors, fly fishing, hiking, soccer and family activities. He is also active in community events and belongs to several trade and environmental organizations.

Kirsti Hilbert  —  
Finance & Operations Manager
Kirsti is responsible for all office management, including accounting, customer service and sales administration activities. She has worked in the automotive testing services field for the last several years and is familiar with environmental regulations.

She enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with her family.

Tony joined us in 2015 after working with CNC milling machines , robotic welding systems and operating heavy equipment. He received many months of on the job training by our retired service contractor, Wayne Burkhardt and subsequently has been to Switzerland to the ECO PHYSICS AG factory for additional training.

Tony enjoys any outdoor activity, hunting and golf.

Tony joined us in 2015 after working with CNC milling machines , robotic welding systems and operating heavy equipment. TJ Baker - Product Manager for medical research products & Technical Sales Specialist
TJ is responsible for the sales of medical research products. He has been active in respiratory and ventilation products for the past 12 years and joined us in the Spring of 2020. TJ is based in Ann Arbor, MI.

He enjoys working in the yard, watching & participating in sports and travel with his family.
